Good question Brandon, I have a tendency to resist change which probably is a factor in me being a slow learner. It’s funny (not ha ha) how when I look back there are more than a few “what if’s” that come to my mind with regard to following our Lord. I’ve noted that God in His wisdom and mercy has often required that I repeat many of the “courses” He has introduced me to over the years simply because I did not open the door initially as I ought to have. New wine in a new wine skin is a break from the past, and yet we often try the old patch routine. I’d be interested in your “youthful” response to your own question. Grace and blessings.
Well, I often hear the older folks of the faith commenting on how “set in their ways” they are, but I have to say, I haven’t found it particularly easy to change just because I’m younger! If anything, change is harder just because I’m slower to see where it’s needed. And there are numerous courses that I’ve had to retake too. I just finished one.
